For vintage sellers

Vintage sizes mean nothing today, and every flaw needs explaining.

Sound familiar?

A size 12 from decades ago isn't a size 12 now, so buyers need measurements. Every mark, repair and fade needs a photo and a line in the description, and the same piece often goes on three different sites with different rules.

What SnapFlip does about it

SnapFlip gives you measurement templates per category, a way to circle a flaw on a close-up, natural photos alongside clean ones, and versions of the same listing ready to paste into Etsy, Depop and Vinted.

What helps

How it works

  1. 1

    Photograph and measure

Shoot the front, back, label and flaws. Fill in the measurement template.

  2. 2

    Describe it honestly

SnapFlip drafts the listing; mark the flaws and check the era and fabric.

  3. 3

    Paste it where it sells

Copy the version for Vinted, Depop or Etsy and post it yourself.

What it doesn't do

  • It doesn't date or authenticate pieces. The draft may suggest an era; check it before you say it.
  • It doesn't post to Etsy, Depop or Vinted. You paste each version in yourself.

Questions

Can I list on Etsy with it?

SnapFlip makes a version of your listing ready to paste into Etsy. Etsy only allows vintage items that are at least 20 years old, plus handmade and craft supplies, so check that first.

Will the AI get the era right?

Not always. Treat any era or fabric in the draft as a suggestion to check against the label and construction. Fields the AI wasn't sure about are flagged.

I sell a lot of vintage. Do I need Vinted Pro?

If you buy to resell, Vinted may expect a Pro account. The Vinted Pro quiz walks through it and links Vinted's rules for your country.
