For car boot flippers

Is it worth buying? You've got about ten seconds to decide.

Sound familiar?

The seller is waiting, the signal is weak and you can't remember what fees will take off. Some days the boot pays for itself; other days you come home with a car full of stock that sits for months, and you're not sure which pitches were worth the drive.

What SnapFlip does about it

Buy or skip takes a photo and the asking price and gives you a verdict with the profit after fees. With no signal, the check waits on your phone and runs when you're back online. Later, the sourcing log shows which trips and places paid off, from your own sales.

What helps

How it works

  1. 1

    Snap and enter the price

At the stall, one photo and the asking price.

  2. 2

    Buy or skip

See the verdict and profit after fees. No signal? It waits on your phone.

  3. 3

    List the haul

At home, shoot and list. Log the trip to see what it really returned.

What it doesn't do

  • The verdict uses an AI estimate of what the item might sell for, not a guarantee. Condition and demand change what you get.
  • It doesn't use eBay sold prices. Live listings are there for you to compare when you have signal.

Questions

Does it work with no signal?

Partly. Buy or skip, the photo station and the free tools open with no signal; checks and AI listings wait on your phone until you're back online and tap send.

How does it know the fees?

It uses each platform's published fee rules for your country, the same as the free fees calculator. Fees change, so check the platform if a sale is close.

Can I see which car boots are worth going to?

Yes, from your own sales. Log each trip and link the items you bought there; the sourcing log shows the return per trip and per type of place.
