For book sellers
Typing out ISBNs and editions for a box of books takes all evening.
Sound familiar?
Most books are worth more in a bundle, a few are worth listing alone, and you only find out which after typing the title, author, edition and ISBN for each one. Then they need a shelf, a box and the right postage.
What SnapFlip does about it
Scan the barcode and SnapFlip fills in the details from Open Library, with no AI allowance used. Bundle the ordinary ones into one listing, give the good ones a shelf location, and check the parcel size before you list.

How it works
- 1
Scan the barcode
Details fill in from Open Library: title, author, edition, format.
- 2
Sort the pile
List the good ones alone; bundle the rest into a few listings.
- 3
Shelve and post
Give each a location, then pick the right parcel size when it sells.
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't price books from eBay sold data. Use the price checker to compare live listings.
- Very old books often have no barcode. For those, take photos of the title page and copyright page and the AI drafts the listing.
Questions
Does the barcode scan use my AI allowance?
No. It looks the ISBN up in Open Library, a free public catalogue, and starts the draft without AI.
What if the book isn't found?
Some editions aren't in Open Library. Take a photo of the cover and copyright page and use an AI listing, or type it yourself.
Does it work for games, DVDs and CDs?
The scanner reads their barcodes, but the free lookup is Open Library, which covers books. For games, DVDs and CDs, a photo and an AI listing usually works better.
Start with the free scanner
Try it without an account. A free account gives you 10 scans and 5 AI listings a month; paid plans add more.
